By the end of kindergarten a child is expected to know the sound each of the 26 letters makes, plus the letter pairs "ch", "ck", "sh", "th" and "wh", and to blend sounds into short words like "sat" and "stop" — and pull them apart again to spell. Ontario's curriculum lists this as what a child needs before Grade 1 rather than as a kindergarten syllabus, so this is what a typical second kindergarten year covers.

Games that match Kindergarten Year 2 (SK)

Opening a game from this page sets the school year to Kindergarten Year 2 (SK), and every game then keeps the words at that level — so a Kindergarten Year 2 (SK) child gets Kindergarten Year 2 (SK) words, not a guess. The school year is a tap away inside the game, so a child moving up a year, or a younger sibling taking a turn, changes it in seconds.
