Opens Tick or Fix.

Your child learns to name upper- and lower-case letters and to hear the first sound in a word — matching pictures that start the same way, clapping syllables, spotting rhymes. The first letter sounds are introduced. Singapore's national kindergarten framework sets one set of goals for K1 and K2 together, and kindergarten isn't compulsory, so this is a typical K1 rather than a fixed rule.

Games that match K1

Opening a game from this page sets the school year to K1, and every game then keeps the words at that level — so a K1 child gets K1 words, not a guess. The school year is a tap away inside the game, so a child moving up a year, or a younger sibling taking a turn, changes it in seconds.
